Built in the same Fender facility that supplies the company’s own guitars, it arrives as a complete, fully assembled unit: three Hot Noiseless single-coil pickups, pots, switch, and wiring already soldered and tested, mounted on a parchment 11-hole pickguard.

Installation is refreshingly low-tech for a mod this significant. Pull your old pickguard, unsolder the output jack and ground wires from your current wiring harness, then reverse the process with the new assembly: solder those same two connections, screw the guard down, and restring. No routing, no rewiring diagrams, no trial and error with pot values — the electronics are already dialed in.
