Description
If your Telecaster’s bridge saddles have seen better decades, this Pure Vintage ’64 kit gets you back to spec with parts built the way Fender did it in the early ’60s. These are threaded nickel-plated steel saddles, the same style used on vintage three-saddle Tele bridges, made wherever possible on the original-era tooling. That matters if you care about period-correct restorations or just want your Tele to feel and behave like the real deal again.
Each of the three saddles carries two strings, so intonation setup is a bit more of a compromise than on a six-saddle bridge — part of what gives vintage Teles their distinctive twang and slightly loose, musical pitch behavior across the neck. This kit includes everything needed to get the saddles installed and dialed in: intonation springs, Phillips head intonation screws, and slotted screws for height adjustment.
- Set of three threaded nickel-plated steel Telecaster saddles
- Includes intonation springs, Phillips head intonation screws, and slotted height adjustment screws
- Faithful to the saddles used on early ’60s Telecaster guitars
- Fits most vintage and modern Teles with the vintage three-saddle bridge design
Note: this kit is built for the classic three-saddle bridge layout and will not fit modern six-saddle Telecaster bridges. Confirm your bridge style before ordering to avoid a mismatch.
