Description
If you’re rewiring a Tele, restoring a beat-up original, or building one from parts, this is the control plate that belongs on it. It’s the same two-hole shape Fender has used since the very first Telecasters rolled out in 1952, so fit and look are exactly as expected — no weird gaps, no mismatched screw spacing.
Made from brass and finished in chrome, it’s got the weight and shine to hold up under years of pick scrapes and palm contact near the bridge. The two control-knob cutouts are sized and spaced for standard Tele volume/tone pot placement, making it a straightforward swap whether you’re upgrading a scratched or pitted plate or finishing out a new build.
Mounting screws are included, so you can get it installed and move on to the part that actually matters: dialing in your tone.
- Plated brass construction
- Two control-knob holes, standard Tele spacing
- Chrome finish
- Mounting screws included
- Fits Telecasters from 1952 to present
A small part, but one that shows — worth getting right.
