The Fishman Full Circle was built around one idea: your upright bass already sounds great, so the pickup’s job is to get out of the way and let that sound through. Instead of coloring your tone with an artificial “amplified” character, the Full Circle tracks the actual vibration of the instrument, preserving the punch of pizzicato, the breadth of arco, and the snap of slap technique — just with more volume behind it.
This 6 x 1mm version is housed inside a rugged aluminum height adjuster wheel, making it a fast, clean retro-fit for any upright already equipped with an adjustment wheel in that format (a UNC 1/4-20 version is also available if that’s what your bass takes). Once in place, a built-in fine-tuning adjustment lets you dial the response between two useful extremes: a more open, resonant character or a tighter, drier, more focused amplified tone — so you can shape the pickup around your instrument and playing style rather than fighting it.
While the Full Circle will run straight into most rigs, pairing it with a Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum Bass, Pro-EQ II, or B-II preamp gives you proper impedance matching and more control over the final sound. Professional installation is recommended to get the fit and tuning right.
