Description
The Prefix Plus-T packs Fishman’s onboard EQ engine and an Acoustic Matrix Undersaddle Pickup into one under-the-endpin unit, so your acoustic gets studio-grade tone control without a cable to a floor pedal. It runs dead quiet electronics through Volume, Bass, Treble, and Brilliance controls, plus a semi-parametric Contour section that lets you dial into the exact frequency giving you trouble and cut or boost it precisely.
Feedback is handled on two fronts: a switchable Phase control and a dedicated Notch filter, so you can push more volume on stage before things get howly. There’s also a built-in chromatic tuner you can access without even plugging in — handy for a quick check between songs or backstage.
Fishman’s pivot design means the 9-volt battery swap takes seconds instead of a fumbling search for a screwdriver, and a low battery LED gives you a heads-up before it dies mid-set. Rated for roughly 150 hours per battery.
