Description
Anyone who’s chased intonation on a Floyd Rose or Ibanez Edge knows the drill: loosen the saddle, nudge it, retune, recheck, repeat. Hollow Point swaps out that trial-and-error loop for a set-and-forget mechanism. Six solid brass inserts drop into the saddle intonation screws, giving you a precise adjustment point that holds still while you work instead of drifting on you.
Because they’re machined from brass rather than the stamped parts stock bridges rely on, Hollow Points add a bit of extra mass to the saddle assembly – which players report translates to a touch more sustain and tone density along with the obvious ease-of-use win. They’re also just a cleaner look on the bridge, filling out that intonation screw area with a more finished, purposeful appearance.
Built specifically for the classic double locking tremolo format, Hollow Points retrofit onto original Floyd Rose units and most licensed variants, including Ibanez Edge trems. They’re most effective on recessed/low-profile installs where you want to protect every bit of your fine-tuning range.
Once installed, they’re the foundation for the BLITZ intonation method – a repeatable, faster way to dial in accurate intonation with better tuning stability afterward (details on the Instructions/FAQ pages).
