Kent Armstrong’s jazz pickups already have a reputation as some of the warmest, most musical in the business. This side-mount version takes that foundation and hands you more control: each pole piece adjusts independently for height, so you can fine-tune the output of every single string until the balance across the neck is exactly where you want it. If you’ve ever fought an uneven G string or a boomy low E on a standard jazz-style pickup, this is the fix.
Under the gold cover sits an Alnico magnet with 7.9K DC resistance, giving you that classic rounded jazz voice with enough output to stay present in a mix. It’s built as a direct-mount unit with terminals for solder connections (wire not included), and the mounting tab is welded to the side of the cover rather than tucked underneath.
