Plug in and you’ll notice the bottom end first — round, full, and refusing to get flabby. From there the midrange opens up with a vocal, singing quality, and the top end sparkles with the kind of class and clarity that turns a good Strat into a killer one. Under the hood, these pickups use upgraded, hotter Barium Ferrite magnets paired with Lace’s patented Micro Matrix Combs — the combination responsible for that vintage-correct tone with extra punch. Depending on position and configuration, you can go with the Standard Set at 6.0k for neck, middle, and bridge to keep things traditionally Stratocaster, or step up to an optional Hot Bridge at 13.2k when you need more power and cut for aggressive rhythm work and searing lead lines.
