The Lace Sensor Gold is where it all began — the original Sensor design that put Lace on the map, and still the go-to for players chasing that classic bell-like single coil voice without the 60-cycle buzz that usually comes with it. This 3-pack (neck, middle, bridge) comes in white and drops into any standard Strat-style pickguard route.
Instead of relying on old-school bobbins, the Gold uses Lace’s patented Micro Comb construction, which opens up string-to-string balance and widens the tonal window compared to a traditional single coil. Wrapping around the coil and magnets is Lace’s Radiant Field Barrier system — the technology responsible for quieting down the hum without smothering the pickup’s natural harmonics or top-end sparkle.
Electrically, each Gold Sensor measures 5.8k resistance, 2.4 henries peak inductance, with a frequency response centered around 3600 Hz — specs that land it squarely in vintage-correct territory, just with far less noise floor to fight against.
