The Feather 2 is Myers’ most capable clip-on system yet, built with the widest mounting reach of any model in their lineup. Because it clamps on rather than requiring drilling or routing, you can move it between instruments in seconds without leaving a mark on any of them.
At the heart of the system sits a compact active preamp enclosure, measuring just 1.97″ x 1.38″ x .79″, powered internally by a pre-installed lithium battery (included). Every unit is bench-tested before it ships, so what you get is a pickup that’s already proven to perform, not just assembled. That active circuitry pushes a hotter, fuller signal than passive clip-ons manage, and it plays nicely with most wireless systems and effect pedals if you want to build out a more elaborate rig.
