It ships with a detachable brass sleeve already installed, so it seats correctly on the metric-shaft pots common to most imported guitars and basses right out of the pack. Just pop the sleeve out using a flat screwdriver or the included allen wrench, and the knob switches over to fit those shafts cleanly. No adapters to hunt down, no loose wobbly knobs, no drilling.
