Seymour Duncan’s Antiquity series exists for players who want the mojo of a 40-year-old PAF without actually waiting 40 years. Each pickup in this set is wound to the same traditional standards Seth Lover used when he designed the original humbucker, so no two units read exactly alike on the DC meter — just like the real vintage pieces they’re modeled after. The nickel silver covers and pole pieces are hand-aged to look genuinely played-in, not just distressed for show, and every pickup skips the wax pot treatment entirely to preserve the airier, more vintage-correct tone and look.
These aren’t stamped out on an assembly line — they’re built by hand in Seymour Duncan’s dedicated Antiquity room, and each one carries a signature on the magnet and bottom plate confirming it’s a genuine Seymour W. Duncan build. A front-tapered mounting ring and matching screws come included with the set.

- Bridge pickup: 8.52k DC ohms, 5.12 henries inductance, Q of 2.38
- Magnet gauss: 15-20 (S-adjustable side calibration on both)

To get you playing right away, this bundle also throws in a set of Ernie Ball EB2223 Super Slinky strings, so you can dial in that aged PAF character on strings that haven’t seen a single gig yet.
