Description
Seymour Duncan built the Antiquity Jaguar bridge pickup for players who want vintage character without the vintage output ceiling. It’s wound hotter than a stock ’50s-spec unit, so you get the same aged tone and looks but with noticeably more fullness and push when you dig in.
The aging process runs deeper than cosmetics. Duncan doesn’t just tint the covers to fake a worn appearance — the magnets themselves are physically and magnetically aged to replicate the mellow, broken-in voice of an original Jaguar pickup from the era. Coils are wound “top going” with south polarity, matching how the earliest vintage examples were built.
Every pickup is hand-calibrated and ships ready to install, complete with mounting screws, a wiring schematic, and vintage-style push-back cloth braid hookup wire for an authentic finish inside your control cavity.
