Description
Seymour Duncan’s Antiquity series is built to sound like a well-loved Jazzmaster pickup that’s been gigging since the ’60s, without the wear and tear on your actual guitar. This is the bridge unit, wound “top coming” with South polarity so that, paired with the Antiquity neck pickup (top going, North), the set cancels hum when both are engaged together.
The flatwork uses traditional pole spacing, with magnets that protrude from both the top and bottom for a smoother, more even string-to-string response than a flush-mounted magnet allows. Each pickup is calibrated and drops right into your existing Jazzmaster routing and hardware, adjusting for height into the body rather than via external springs. It ships with mounting screws, a schematic, and period-correct cloth-braided “push-back” hookup wire for that authentic vintage look and feel under the hood.
- Length: 3.530″ / Width: 1.512″
- Total pickup height: .318″ / Magnet height: .471″
- Winding: top coming / Polarity: South
- Magnet pattern: raised from top and bottom
- DC Resistance: 8.3K ohms
- Inductance: 4.2 henries
- Q: 3.5
- Calibrated for use with the Antiquity neck pickup
If you’re chasing that airy, slightly worn-in Jazzmaster growl without modifying your guitar, this bridge pickup is a straightforward, historically faithful upgrade.
