Description
Pull the cover off this one and you’re looking at the same construction Seymour Duncan uses to recreate the guts of a vintage ’52 goldtop or ’59 ES-330 – hand-wound bobbins, period-correct wire, and flatback tape holding it all together. It’s not aged cosmetically for looks; the tone is the point.
Two Dun-Aged Alnico II bar magnets sit on a precision metal spacer that routes the field up through six fillister pole pieces, giving you that woolly, slightly compressed P90 growl with just enough top-end air to keep chords from turning to mud. This is the neck position version in the soapbar-cover style, finished in black, and it’s calibrated to pair correctly with its bridge counterpart if you’re running the set.

If you’re chasing that raspy, midrange-forward P90 snarl without the hum-canceling compromise of a stacked design, this is the real deal – built the old way, on purpose.
