Seymour Duncan built this pickguard around a trio of Stack Plus pickups, engineered to sound like classic single coils while staying dead quiet under gain and noisy stage lighting. The Custom Stack Plus sits in the bridge for a thick, driving lead tone, while the Vintage-Hot Stack Plus in the neck adds extra warmth and body for rhythm work. Between them, the Classic Stack Plus handles the middle position and blends in for those glassy in-between tones in positions 2, 3, and 4 that Strat players live for.
