George Lynch wanted a pickup that could wail on command but still clean up nicely when you rolled back the volume — this is the answer he got, and it’s built for players chasing that same push-pull between aggression and clarity.
What sets it apart under the hood is the mix of slotted and Allen head pole screws. Each coil ends up with a slightly different magnetic field, and that small asymmetry is what keeps the output big and punchy without tipping over into harsh or brittle territory.
