Designed with Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, the LiveWire Active Humbucker Set is built for players who want the punch and headroom of an active system without the sterile, compressed feel that usually comes with it. Seymour Duncan matched the resonant frequencies of the bridge and neck coils to the classic SH-4 JB and SH-2N Jazz Model voicings, so the pickups retain that recognizable Seymourized character even with an active preamp doing the work.
