The Woody HC is Seymour Duncan’s hum-cancelling take on the classic magnetic soundhole pickup, built for players who want warm, rounded acoustic tone without any drilling, routing, or permanent changes to their guitar. Slide it into place, and you’re ready to plug in — pull it out just as easily when you’re done.
Because it’s a humbucking design, the SA-3HC trades a bit of the airy sparkle you’d get from the single-coil SC version for a fatter, more compressed voice with dead-quiet, noise-free output. It’s a great match for anyone playing in electrically noisy rooms or stacking effects where hum becomes a problem.
Each Woody is double potted for solid feedback resistance, so you can push volume on stage without the pickup turning against you. It ships wired with a 14-foot, low-capacitance studio-grade cable that runs straight into an amp, PA, direct box, or console — no extra adapters needed.

Designed for standard steel string acoustic guitars only — being magnetic, it won’t sense nylon strings, so it’s not compatible with classical or nylon-string instruments.
