Description
Born in the Custom Shop for George Lynch, the Screamin’ Demon Trembucker takes the wide-open voice of Seymour’s ’59 Model and pushes it in a slightly meaner, more vocal direction. Output sits in the moderate range, so you’re not looking at a compressed high-gain monster here — instead you get a pickup that stays dynamic and touch-sensitive while still snarling when you dig in.
What sets this one apart physically is the mixed pole piece setup: one row of allen screws paired with one row of standard slotted screws. That asymmetry isn’t just cosmetic — it contributes to the pickup’s distinctive “airy” quality, giving the treble strings a defined, percussive edge that never tips over into harshness. The low end stays big and open, so chords sound full without turning to mud, and single-note runs cut through with real clarity.
Because it’s a Trembucker, the wider spacing is built specifically for trem-equipped guitars, making it a natural fit for players running Floyd Rose or similar bridges who still want true PAF-style tone rather than a modern, hot-rodded sound.

If you love the ’59 Model but want a touch more attitude in the top end, the Screamin’ Demon is the logical next step.
