Description
Some pickups chase a sound. This one was there when the sound was invented. Seymour Duncan built this set by re-winding PAFs the same way he did decades ago for a London mate who plugged into a Marshall stack and rewrote what rock guitar could do. The Whole Lotta Humbucker set is that formula, packaged for your own guitar.
- Rough cast Alnico 5 bar magnets for warmth with real note-to-note separation
- Plain enamel wire and Seymour’s own signature winding pattern
- Bridge: 8.78k DC resistance — hot, but not overcooked
- Neck: 8.20k DC resistance — beefy enough to hold its own against the bridge
- Four-conductor wiring on both pickups for coil-splitting, phase switching, or series/parallel setups
- Available as a matched set or sold individually, with black uncovered bobbins
What sets these apart isn’t raw output—it’s the way they interact with a cranked amp. Expect a touch of natural compression and extra sustain that makes single-note runs and power chords feel like they’re pushing back against you, in a good way. Drop them into a mahogany-bodied guitar with a rosewood board and you’re squarely in
