Description
Seymour Duncan built the SJAG-1N/SJAG-1B set to nail the exact single-coil voice that defined the Jaguar back in the ’60s — that glassy, twangy chime that surf and rockabilly players still chase decades later. This isn’t a rough approximation; the pole pieces are hand-ground using the original vintage process, and the construction and materials mirror the originals down to the last detail.
The neck pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RW/RP) relative to the bridge, so when both are engaged together they cancel hum rather than stack it — a smart bit of vintage engineering that still holds up. Each pickup arrives with waxed cloth hookup cable for that period-correct feel and reliability, though note that covers and the Jaguar
