Description
After more than a decade touring behind his original APH-2 signature set, Slash went back to Seymour Duncan’s team with a specific ask: keep the tonality and clarity guitarists already love, but give it more push for the stage. The Slash 2.0 Neck Humbucker is the result — a hotter-wound evolution of the APH-2 built for the demands of world tours with Guns N’ Roses and Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.
This isn’t a redesign for its own sake. The extra output is dialed in to hit amps harder while preserving the note definition and articulate top end that made the original APH-2 a fan favorite in the first place. Expect the same expressive, vocal character in the neck position, now with a bit more drive and compression to keep pace with high-gain rigs and big stages.
- Seymour Duncan model 11104-18-BNc
