Description
The STC-3P drops a full active tone circuit into passive dual-pickup basses, giving you the kind of shaping control usually reserved for active instruments. You get master volume, a blend knob for balancing your pickups, and three bands of EQ voiced specifically for bass frequencies — bass, mid, and treble — each dialed in at center frequencies that actually matter for the low end.
- Low end stays deep and tight without turning muddy
- Mid control sweeps from smooth and scooped to aggressive and punchy
- Treble opens up wide and articulate, never harsh or brittle
- Pull-up Slap Switch on the volume knob kicks in a special EQ contour built for slap and pop technique
Under the hood, the circuit is engineered for low noise, low distortion, and generous headroom, so it stays clean and quiet no matter what style you’re playing — funk, rock, jazz, or metal.
