It drops straight into a standard single-coil slot, so no routing or pickguard surgery required, yet inside it’s running a twin-coil split rail design wired in parallel to cancel hum while keeping the tone unmistakably single-coil.
The output sits at classic vintage levels – clean, glassy, and touch-sensitive, with plenty of top-end sparkle intact. Dial in the in-between positions and you get that signature quacky, scooped-mid twang that made these pickup slots famous for country, surf, rockabilly, and ska.
