This bundle pairs the Suhr ML Standard neck and middle pickups with the SSV+ bridge humbucker, giving you a cohesive, position-tuned set rather than three pickups thrown together and hoped for the best. Each one is voiced for where it sits in the guitar, so the tonal handoff between neck, middle, and bridge feels natural instead of jarring.
The ML Standard pair uses Alnico V magnets with a modified staggered pole piece layout, built to keep magnetic pull even across flatter fingerboard radiuses and modern string gauges. They’re the hotter-output ML variant, so you get extra sustain and push without losing the tight low end and glassy top that the ML design is known for. The middle pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity, which means you get quiet, hum-cancelling tones the moment you blend positions 2 or 4 – no extra wiring tricks required.
At the bridge, the SSV+ is the overwound take on Suhr’s SSV humbucker – same Alnico V core, but pushed for more output and thicker, more defined upper-harmonic content. Set at 53mm spacing with 4-conductor wiring, it’s ready for coil-splitting or series/parallel switching if your wiring scheme calls for it.
