Description
Teles weren’t built with a vibrato in mind, but Super-Vee’s Maverick kit changes that without changing the guitar’s soul. It’s a direct swap for your existing bridge plate, so you keep the silhouette and twang players expect from a Telecaster — you just add the ability to dive and shimmer notes with a vintage-style tremolo action.
- Retains the classic Tele bridge plate profile and look
- Nickel finish
- Compensated V-Tone brass string saddles for accurate intonation up and down the neck
- Includes bar, springs, screws, claw, and Parchment tip
The V-Tone saddles are the quiet hero here: brass construction with compensated spacing means your open chords and 12th-fret harmonics actually agree with each other, something a lot of vintage-style bridges struggle with. Combine that with the added expressive range of a tremolo arm, and you’ve got a Tele that can do subtle pitch bends, gentle vibrato swells, or full-on surf dive-bombs while still looking every bit the classic single-cutaway workhorse.
Everything needed for the install — bar, springs, screws, claw, and a Parchment-colored tip — comes in the kit, so it’s a straightforward bolt-in upgrade for anyone comfortable doing their own guitar work.
