This bundle pairs two of DiMarzio’s most trusted humbuckers into a ready-made tonal upgrade, no guesswork required. The DP193FW Air Norton neck pickup uses DiMarzio’s patented Air Norton magnetic structure to cut string pull, which frees up sustain and lets your pick attack come through with real dynamic range. Don’t expect a typical dark, woolly neck tone here — it’s warm and open but stays articulate, with harmonic content that’s unusual for a humbucker in this position. Alnico 5 magnet, 4-conductor wiring, 270mV output, 12.58 kOhm DC resistance.
Anchoring the bridge is the DP155FW Tone Zone, built to solve the classic problem of thin, buzzy bridge tone. It’s a genuinely high-output pickup but with more headroom than you’d guess — dig in and it roars, back off and it cleans up nicely. Patented dual-resonance coils push extra low-mid punch and bass weight into the mix so chords feel massive and single notes carry real depth, while still resolving more overtones than most pickups this fat-sounding manage. Alnico 5 magnet, 4-conductor wiring, 375mV output, 17.31 kOhm DC resistance. Coil-split it for a convincing single-coil voice when you want it.
Both pickups are F-spaced for guitars with a floating or trem bridge and finished in white to match your build. Suited to solid body and semi-hollow guitars, and a favorite blues-rock combo when paired with an Air Classic in the neck slot instead.
