This set pairs the DP260BK Neck with the DP261BK F-Spaced Bridge model, giving you a complementary duo voiced for real playing dynamics rather than one-note distortion.
The DP260BK Neck model uses an Alnico 5 magnet and 4-conductor wiring to deliver a rich, throaty tone that never gets muddy. DiMarzio dialed in just enough winding to keep sustain and clarity intact, so single notes still cut through even with that smooth, creamy top end. Output sits at 193mV with 7.37 kOhm DC resistance.
On the bridge, the DP261BK brings an Alnico 4 magnet and the same 4-conductor flexibility (with 1-conductor wiring optional), tuned for players who dig in hard. It responds to touch, handles chords and multi-note passages cleanly, and turns aggressive picking into a snarly, thick rock tone. Output is rated at 278mV with 7.69 kOhm DC resistance. The F-spacing means this bridge unit is built for guitars with a wider low-E to high-E string spread.
