Description
The Titan 7 Bridge grew directly out of demand once players heard what the original 6-string Titan Bridge could do – and once Jake Bowen’s playing showed just how far a well-designed high-output pickup could push modern, technical rock guitar. This 7-string version carries that same DNA: fast response, dynamic touch sensitivity, and a low end that stays controlled instead of collapsing into mush.
That control matters most on the seventh string. A lot of high-output ceramic pickups end up either harsh and glassy or thick and indistinct once you drop into low-B territory. The Titan 7 Bridge splits the difference – it keeps the bottom end bright and tight rather than boomy, while the top end stays rounded and clear instead of icy. The result is a pickup with a genuine voice of its own, one that can still cut through when you’re layered in with two other guitars and everything gets dense.
Under the cover it’s a ceramic-magnet design wired with 4-conductor cable, so you’ve got the flexibility to wire it for series, parallel, or split configurations depending on how your other electronics are set up.
- Wiring: 4-Conductor
- Magnet: Ceramic
- Output: 415 mV
- DC Resistance: 10.80 Kohm
- Introduced: 2016
- Patent: 5,908,998
Tone profile: Treble 5.0, Mid 6.0, Bass 5.0 – a balanced, present voice rather than a scooped or bass-heavy one, which is exactly why it works so well for tight, articulate modern rock and metal riffing on 7-string guitars.
