Description
Designed alongside Periphery’s Jake Bowen, the DiMarzio Titan Bridge Model was built around one non-negotiable requirement: tightness. Modern djent-adjacent riffing demands a pickup that can keep low tunings from turning to mud while still letting the player’s touch come through, and the Titan delivers on both fronts.
Palm-muted chugs come out controlled and punchy rather than washed out, but back off the attack and strum open chords, and the Titan opens up into a surprisingly clear, ringing voice. That dynamic range – aggressive when you dig in, articulate when you don’t – is what makes this pickup work as well for polyrhythmic riffing as it does for cleaner passages, regardless of whether you’re in standard or dropped tuning.
This version is wound in F-Spacing to match a bridge pickup’s typical string spread, and finished in black with matching black pole pieces for a stealthy, no-frills look on the guitar.
