Fishman built the PowerTap Infinity around a simple idea: your guitar’s voice isn’t just strings, it’s wood too. This system pairs the road-proven Matrix Infinity undersaddle pickup, still the world’s best-selling under-saddle sensor, with an all-new Tap soundboard body sensor that picks up taps, slaps, and the natural resonance of the top without inviting feedback into the mix.
A soundhole-mounted Blend control lets you mix the Rare Earth undersaddle signal with the Tap signal in mono, or split them across a stereo cable to run each through its own amp channel, effects chain, or EQ. That means you can layer a clean, direct string tone with a separately shaped percussive/ambient layer — essentially two distinct sonic personalities from one instrument.
The Volume and Tone controls now live in a redesigned, sealed soundhole enclosure for cleaner adjustments on the fly, and the preamp’s voicing switch has been relocated for easier access across different body sizes, amp setups, and playing styles.

This PRO-MAN-PT1 is the narrow format, 3/32″ (2.3mm) width, with a standard 2.65″ (67.3mm) undersaddle pickup length suited to guitars with 2.5″ (63.5mm) string spacing. The body sensor measures 2.54″ (64.4mm) wide by .68″ (17.3mm) tall. Custom lengths available by special order; professional installation strongly recommended.
