Description
Designed for Aaron Marshall’s signature Schecter Solstice, this 7-string bridge pickup is voiced for players who need serious low-end authority without losing note definition on the low B. The Alnico VI magnet pushes a firm, aggressive pull through the strings, giving you a tight, punchy attack that stays articulate even when you’re chugging through dense, low-tuned riffs.
- Spacing: 49mm universal
- Wiring/Design: Standard 4-conductor
- Baseplate: Black nickel-silver
- Pole Pieces: 6 x .187″ chrome slugs
- Magnet: Alnico VI
- Output at full power: 9k Ohms
The black nickel-silver baseplate adds a bit of extra bite and midrange focus compared to a standard steel plate, while the 4-conductor wiring gives you the flexibility to wire it for series, parallel, split-coil, or out-of-phase configurations if your wiring setup calls for it. At 9k ohms, output is hot enough to drive an amp into satisfying saturation while keeping enough headroom for dynamics and pick attack to come through clean.
Finished in black to match the Solstice’s aesthetic, this pickup is built for extended-range players chasing a bridge tone that’s heavy, focused, and ready for down-tuned riffing without turning to mud.
