Description
Seth Lover’s original PAF blueprint gets the full vintage treatment here. Seymour Duncan’s Antiquity Humbucker (neck position) is wound and built to the same old-world standards as the classics it’s modeled after, which means each pickup carries its own personality and its own DC resistance — no two are perfectly identical, just like a real ’50s-era unit.
The aging isn’t just cosmetic, though the nickel silver cover and pole pieces are visibly worn to look like decades of stage and studio use. Left unpotted, the coil keeps that slightly loose, open vintage voice instead of the tightened-up bark you get from wax-dipped modern pickups. Every unit is hand-built in Seymour Duncan’s dedicated Antiquity room and signed on the magnet and bottom plate, so you know it’s the real thing.
Comes with a front-tapered mounting ring and matching screws.
