Description
Seymour Duncan’s Antiquity II Mini-Humbuckers give you that hollowed-out, slightly worn vintage mini-hum tone without hunting down a dusty original from decades ago. They’re built to slot right into P-90 soapbar cover-style mounting rings, so if you’re routed for a soapbar, you’re covered without any surgery.
Each pickup has adjustable pole pieces for fine-tuning string balance, and both neck and bridge units share the same physical footprint: 1.086″ wide, 2.577″ long, with a max height of .842″ including the leg. Mounting ring specs run .1365″ wide by 3.365″ long, topping out at .631″ high, with .750″ of adjustable pole piece travel and 3/8″ round-head slotted mounting screws.
Where they differ is in the winding, which is exactly how a real neck/bridge pairing should behave:
- Neck: 6.7K DC ohms, 3.22 henries inductance, Q of 2.01
- Bridge: 8.1K DC ohms, 4.37 henries inductance, Q of 2.01
Both use S-adjustable side magnet calibration at 15/20 gauss, keeping the pole piece response consistent across the set while the bridge’s hotter wind pushes a bit more push into your amp. Expect that airy, slightly compressed mini-humbucker character — thinner and more open than a full-size PAF-style bucker, but with more girth than a single-coil.
This listing includes the complete pickup set (neck and bridge) plus a free set of Ernie Ball strings, so you can restring the moment your new pickups are wired in.
