Jaguars are famous for that glassy, surfy chime — but stock pickups can feel thin once you dig in. The SJAG-2 Hot Jaguar bridge pickup keeps the true single-coil character Jaguar players love while pouring in extra output and a fuller, meatier tonal response than a vintage-spec Jaguar unit.

Seymour Duncan built this with a custom coil tuned to work with the magnetic pole pieces, pushing more sustain and a beefier mid-range than you’ll get from the standard-output SJAG-1. The result is a single-coil that still cleans up nicely but has real backbone when you dig into a riff — think country twang with muscle, surf tones that don’t disappear in a mix, and enough grind for blues, classic rock, or heavier rock tones without losing that Jaguar sparkle.
